When
you visit a web page it's stored on your PC so that if you return to it later
the download time will be reduced because the images are retained. So, if a web
page has changed while you've been away, it's sometimes necessary to use the 'Refresh'
button on your toolbar. This removes previous pages and brings you the latest
version. The two images below show how to do this using earlier and later versions of Windows and Internet Explorer and it's pretty much the same process with other browsers:
